Evensong is a sung service of evening prayer which is deeply rooted in the Anglican tradition. It gathers people of all Christian denominations who are looking for a way to connect to God with otherworldly music, prayers, and scripture readings.  

Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Tryon has a tradition of offering services of choral evensong on a regular basis. Its first service of 2022-23 will be offered on Sunday, October 2 at 4 p.m. The service lasts about 45 minutes and will be led by the Holy Cross evensong choir.
