Mark your calendars for an event that is a Fall favorite! The Celebrate Nature at FENCE Festival will take place on Sunday, October 2 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event is held outdoors and is free to attend. 

 

The Fall Festival will include fun activities for all ages, as well as a free lunch! Activities include live music, animal encounters, nature activities, art demonstrations, and much more. FENCE hopes to see a lot of community members on this fun day as they celebrate all there is to enjoy about nature. This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at Polk County Community Foundation.

 

FENCE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving as a community resource for the preservation of green space and for educational and recreational opportunities linking nature, animals, and people. FENCE offers 384 acres of land and has five miles of trails open to enjoy from dawn till dusk, and is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon, North Carolina.
