This historic breakfast has been held for the past 12 years, and features speakers from local farms and other agricultural experts in their field. It offers an opportunity to meet your neighbors and connect with community support agencies that help us maintain our beautiful, rural agricultural county.

This month their speaker is Pam Torlina from Conserving Carolina. She enjoys sharing her love of the natural world with others, hoping it will inspire a new appreciation and understanding of this special region and our connection to it.

This breakfast will be held at the Green Creek Community Center, located at 25 Shields Drive, Tryon, in the Green Creek community.

In an effort to be sustainable, please bring your own coffee mug and plate to the complimentary breakfast.

Friends of Agriculture Breakfast is held on the third Wednesday of every month September through May. This event is sponsored by the local Polk County Farm Bureau and managed by the Polk County Office of Agricultural Economic Development.
