Locals honor fallen heroes at Tryon 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

For the third year in a row, Tryon locals Katheryn Gordon and Lindy Buss organized the Tryon 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Several members of the community gathered at the Tryon clock tower stairs on Sunday, September 11th to do the annual stair climb.

Memorial stair climb events occur all over the country on or around September 11th to honor the 343 firefighters killed in the line of duty that day.
