In Polk County District Court on July 27, 2022 with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 123 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jarett Mitchel Bolton was convicted of operating vehicle with improper equipment. Bolton was fined $25 and court costs. 

 

Jeanie Kahl Brown was convicted of speeding 29 mph in a 20 mph zone. 

 

Abigail Faith Buckner was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Buckner was fined $30 and court costs. 

 

Jamie Hutchins Carver was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Carver was fined $25 and court costs. 

 

Jason Anthony Champion was convicted of resisting public officer, failure to exhibit/surrender license and unlawful use of highways. Champion was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation. A $100 fine and court costs. 

 

Bryan Steven Chandler was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Chandler was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 48 hours of community service and court costs. 

 

Cathy Jewell Fischer was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. 

 

Susan Ann Johnson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Johnson was fined $25 and court costs. 

 

Dalton Lee Kendrick was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Kendrick was fined $100 and court costs. 

 

Ramirez Bonill Martin was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Martin was fined $200 and court costs. 

 

Kenneth Garland Owen was convicted of driving while license revoked. Owen was fined $30 and court costs. 

 

Charles Gary Ridge II was convicted of breaking and entering and possession of methamphetamine. Ridge was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation and court costs. 

 

Erin Elizabeth Roy was convicted of a probation violation. Roy’s sentence was activated with credit for time served. 

 

Bonnie Kim Ruff was convicted of speeding 29 mph in a 20 mph zone. Ruff was fined $30 and court costs. 

 

David Lee Weeks was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Weeks was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and $800 in restitution. 

 

Eduard Zehexenbekov was convicted of failure to yield. Zehexenbekov was fined $30 and court costs.
