The Tryon Country Club Men’s Golf Association played a 1-2-3 Best Ball format along with closest to the pins on both par 3s on August 15. There were eight groups giving it their all to try to get the win. The results were as follows:

 

 

 

1st place – Reggie Kennedy, Tom Bolling, Roger Dehnel, (BP) Tommy Richardson – 58

 

 

 

2nd place – Jerry Pospisil, Bill Basye, Ken Shull, Richard Barraud – 61

 

 

 

3rd place – Doug Gelbert, Mike Axelrod, Jack Saunders, (BP) Ken Shull – 61
