Polk County welcomed Kings Mountain and East Henderson to G.M. Tennant Stadium on Wednesday for its first preseason scrimmage of the 2022 football season.
The Wolverines are slated to complete their preseason on Saturday, facing Eastside, S.C. in the opening matchup of the Western North Carolina vs. Upstate South Carolina Border Showcase. The action begins at 6 p.m., with Brevard facing Blue Ridge, S.C. and Owen battling Landrum to finish out the evening.
