GREEN CREEK––Early Thursday morning, Green Creek Fire Rescue was dispatched to Coxe Road for a structure fire.

Officials at Green Creek were unable to release any information about the house fire at this time. More details will be available about the incident soon according to Green Creek Fire Rescue.

Officials battled the fire for hours into daylight.

Also on the scene were Columbus Fire Department, Mill Spring Fire Department, Sunny View Fire Department, and New Prospect Fire Department. Polk County EMS, Polk County Fire Marshal, and Polk County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
