Foothills Humane Society reduces adoption fees to accommodate more rescues 

 

COLUMBUS––The Foothills Humane Society is running an adoption promotion special for the month of July.

Pat Staggs, General Manager, says that the Humane Society is at full capacity with rescued dogs and cats.

“To make space to accommodate more rescues from our service area, we are currently running an adoption promotion special through the month of July,” he says.

During all of next month, the adoption fee for adult dogs, adult cats, and kittens will be reduced to $10 each. The usual adoption fee for adult dogs is $80, for adult cats $25, and for kittens $50.

Staggs says that over 1,600 animals per year through their various programs.
