Math Accelerate, a free tutoring program, avaliable for local middle school students

Does your middle school child need some extra help with math? Could they use guidance on basic math skills, graphing, linear equations, formulas, integers, and more?

Higher Academia, a free class funded by a grant from WNC Bridge Foundation, is offering just what your child needs! Class is limited to the first 15 students to apply so do not wait as the class will fill quickly! 

Math Accelerate starts June 21 and continues on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.; for 10 sessions ending July 28. Visit the website higheracademia.org/programs for the full schedule. Snacks will be provided by Thermal Belt Outreach.

The free tutoring program will take place at Polk Early College, located at 1545 NC-108, Columbus, NC. To register, contact  higheracademia@yahoo.com or call (828) 585-7803.

Sonya Twitty, Director, founded the non-profit Higher Academia in 2012 with the sole mission of empowering at-risk youth and their families through education, mentoring and tutoring.
