There were many folks in attendance at the Pentecost Block Party in Tryon on June 5 (Photos by Patricia Gass).

The weather was perfect for an outdoor gathering to celebrate the church and kick off summer after the service on Pentecost Sunday, June 5. The church had just welcomed eight new members the preceding Sunday and all in attendance were happy to be outside sharing conversation and getting to know each other better. Melrose Avenue neighbors were invited as well. With the help of some special church funds, there was even a pizza truck serving delicious pizza! Beverages and ice cream were also available. It was a blessed day with good fellowship and good times to remember.
