The Rotary Club of Tryon is always looking for service projects around the community. Recently members of the Rotary Club’s new Impact Team helped deliver more than 1,800 pounds of food to the Thermal Belt Outreach facility in Columbus. The food had been donated by local residents and collected by mail carriers on May 14th. The Rotary Impact Team picked the food up from the post offices in Mill Spring, Saluda, Tryon and Columbus for delivery to Outreach.

The Rotary Impact Team provides an opportunity for people to volunteer in our community without the commitment of being a full-time Rotary Club of Tryon member. Impact Team members are contacted whenever the Rotary Club of Tryon has a service project. If the members are available, they can come out and help live the Rotary Motto of Service Above Self.
