The 2022 Trevor’s Gift Golf Tournament will be held Friday at Links O’Tryon in Campobello.

The tournament is sponsored by the nonprofit Trevor’s Gift, a local organization that funds scholarships to Western Carolina University for students wishing to study criminal justice.

The organization is named for Polk County High School graduate Trevor Arrowood, who went on to graduate from WCU and work as a police officer in Rock Hill, S.C. before enduring a lengthy battle with cancer. Trevor passed away in January 2021.
