Celebrate the arts in downtown Saluda this Saturday at the Saluda Arts Festival

SALUDA – Enjoy a day in the mountains and support the region’s rich art and crafts tradition at the Saluda Arts Festival this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

More than 90 artists in mediums such as jewelry, pottery, painting, woodwork, photography and fiber will be selling at the festival. Shoppers will be able to buy one-of-a-kind handcrafted wares, while supporting local artists.

“I love shopping at the festival,” said Saluda resident Ann Dudley. My friends and I always find the best gifts for others and ourselves.”

 

In addition to arts and crafts, the festival will feature a children’s art activity tent, a balloon artist, stilt walker, face painters and magicians. Music is performed on three different stages by the Lonesome Road Band, Foster and Greene, Sufi Brothers, Life Like Water, and the Saluda Youth Acting Krewe.

 

Parking is available along Main Street, the municipal lot on West Main Street, the Saluda Fire Station on Greenville Street, and the Saluda Elementary School on Seminary Street. 

 

Enjoy lunch at one of Saluda’s many restaurants, cafes and bakeries. Many of the restaurants will offer to go lunches so you can enjoy lunch and listen to music. You can pick up a restaurant menu at the Arts Festival information tent on Greenville Street.
