Local amateur dressage riders bring home blue ribbons

Several local amateur dressage riders brought home blue ribbons from TIEC after competing in events held on May 7 and May 8. Among the winners were Resa Aiken who rode Chevelle, Alanna Bent who rode Ooude van G.V., Chloe Roth who rode Que the Music, Kathryn Williams who rode Gunsmoke’s Gideon, Mateo Mendoza who rode Friedmeyer, Jack Burrell who rode Magnito, and Wendy Taylor who rode Sir Royals. 

 

Several local professional riders competed and won blue ribbons including  Ashley Perkins who rode Carusela, Jessica Davis who rode Duke of Tryon, Jodie Lees who rode Indigo and Pam Stone who rode Ilanka.

Judges were Debbie Rodriguez from Williamsburg, Virginia and Sue Mandas of Dayton, Ohio.

 

The next dressage competition at Tryon International Equestrian Center is scheduled for June 16 through June 19.
