Saluda celebrates opening of Saluda Acupuncture

SALUDA – The community came out to celebrate the opening of Saluda Acupuncture at 48 E. Main Street, Saluda, with a ribbon-cutting Wednesday. The City of Saluda and Saluda Business Association sponsored the event.
Asha Woo, a licensed acupuncturist with 14 years of experience, will offer acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, and sound healing. Her practice is by appointment only on weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can reach Woo at asha@saludaacupuncture.com or 828-490-1941. Mayor Tangie Morgan wished Asha much success with her business as friends and members of the business community cheered and clapped.
Woo has spent several years working in a mental health hospital treating chronic pain, depression, anxiety and PTSD and as a volunteer with Hospice doing massage, energy work and acupuncture. She graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon, in 2007 and has studied under Dr. Mikio Sankey, founder of Esoteric Acupuncture.
