Lessons sponsored by local organizations 

 

POLK COUNTY––Polk County Community Foundation and the Saluda Community Land Trust are sponsoring free swimming lessons to residents of Polk County, or residents who live in the Saluda Postal code. 

    

Lessons will begin June 20 and run through July 25. They will be on a one-on-one basis Monday through Friday, and can be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

    

Swimming instructor Brian Lilburn has taught swimming for over 20 years. The lessons will be held at Twin Lakes, just off Greenville St. in Saluda. Children can begin lessons as young as 12 months old as long as they are crawling, rolling over, and trying to stand up.
