Harmon Field hosted the annual family event on Saturday

 

TRYON––On Saturday, the Spring Fever Family Fun Fest took place at Harmon Field.

The annual event was sponsored by Polk County Community Foundation, along with Steps to HOPE, Polk County Division of Social Services, and Polk County Community Child Protection Team.

BJ Bayne of Steps to HOPE says that the purpose of this event was to bring together families in the community and to share resources that Polk County has to offer by putting a face with an organization. 

The Spring Fever Family Fun Fest was free to the community and included food trucks, event T-shirts, music, games, prizes, a balloonist, a caricaturist, inflatables and free giveaways.

Bayne says, “It was exciting to see and hear families having fun and connecting to each other and our community partners. Polk County strong!”
