Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

For the past twenty-two years, Leah Justice has helped our community thrive and grow with her dedicated work at The Tryon Daily Bulletin. And many of her friends and community members want to help her during her illness.

On April 24 beginning at 11.00 a.m., a take out lunch will be held at the Pea Ridge Community Center, located at 207 Big Level Rd. Mill Spring, NC 28722. There will be 300 meals prepared. There is a dining area available on a first-come, first-served basis

The meal includes baked ham, buttery old-fashioned grits, and a buttermilk biscuit. Carrots with a honey-rosemary-garlic glaze and a tangy cabbage, kale, cranberry slaw add balance to the meal. Homemade desserts will be available. Each plate is $12.00.

If you have a favorite home-made dessert and would like to donate for this benefit, please drop it off at the Pea Ridge Community Center on the morning of April 24, and we’ll add it to the lineup of desserts. Extra desserts will be sold at the benefit.  Monetary donations will be appreciated too.

Thank you for supporting Leah.
