Baseball is America’s favorite pastime, and it has hit Polk County. Each and every open ball field is in full swing. It’s a family pastime with so many volunteers making the game fun for all the children in our area, from the volunteer coach to the dug out mom to the dad on the side line throwing grounders to each little player. This helps make baseball / softball a true family tradition, and a true American sport. Need something to do throughout the week? Come support the kids of Polk County. From recreation to travel ball, on into our schools, the ball park is open! So, take me out to the ball game!
