Members of the Rotary Club of Tryon partnered with Polk County High School students to Rise Against Hunger last weekend. Students from three high school clubs, Interact, Key and HOSA, worked with members of the Rotary Club’s new Impact Team to prepare over 10,000 meals to be used in hunger prevention programs around the world.

The Rotary Club of Tryon started the Impact Team to give community members opportunities to provide service to their community without committing to being a full-time Rotary member. Impact Team members will be contacted before any Rotary Service Project and given an opportunity to help with the project.
