Landrum Police Department’s annual breakfast with the community on Wednesday

 

LANDRUM––The Landrum Police Department is having their annual Breakfast with the Blue event this Wednesday.

The breakfast will be at the Landrum Train Depot on March 23 from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. and is open to all Landrum residents.

The event will include activities, door prizes, and a Q&A with officers.

Police Chief Kris Ahler says, “The purpose of the breakfast is to afford the officers and members of the community time to interact with one another, break bread together, play some games and activities, and get to know one another without being on call for service.”

Breakfast with the Blue has been an annual event for many years.

“We try to make additions to it each year to improve the experience for our community,” Chief Ahler says. “It is a wonderful event, and all of us look forward to the opportunity each year.”
