Vehicle struck parked car on West Howard St.

 

TRYON––Monday afternoon around 2:15, a car wreck occurred on West Howard St. in Tryon, just above the Tryon Fire Department.

According to Tryon Police Department officials, a vehicle struck a parked vehicle on the side of the street.  The wreck resulted in only property damage and did not result in injuries for the driver who struck the parked vehicle, which was empty at the time. 

The car veered off the road and into the parked car, officials say.  Traffic was rerouted for a short period until the vehicles were moved out of the roadway.  Roads were cleared before school let out at 3. Officials were not allowed to release photographs of the accident.
