COLUMBUS – George Robert Dimsdale, 58, of Columbus, passed away, on January 22, 2022, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Born in Tryon, he was the son of the late Robert Paul Dimsdale and Reva Marie Foster Dimsdale. George worked many years alongside his father at Habitat for Humanity building homes.
Surviving are his two sisters, Brenda Lee Cogburn of Marion and Rebecca Pace of Columbus: and one brother, William N. Dimsdale.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Tryon Second Baptist Church with Reverend John Williams officiating.
