Polk County romped to an 89-36 victory Monday at Rosman in a non-conference boys basketball matchup.

Twelve different players scored for the Wolverines, who improved to 5-1 for the season. Rosman dropped to 0-9.

Dominique Carson had 23 points to lead Polk County, with Mackus Simpson adding 13 and Kanye Staley scoring 12.

Kris Littlejohn had three 3-pointers for his nine points, with Isaiah Spears adding seven points. Wayne Carson scored six, with Brandon West scoring five.

Landen Bradley finished with four points, with Antonio Simpson and Vincent Twitty each scoring three. Riley Searcy and Briar Underwood each added two points.

Polk County returns to the court on Tuesday, hosting Hendersonville for a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference matchup. The game will tip at approximately 7:30 p.m. and will be shown live on NFHS Network.
