Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Rutherfordton, NC– Bonnie Carden Musselwhite, 71, made her transition on November 18 at her home in Rutherfordton, NC.
Bonnie was born in Orlando, Florida and graduated from Edgewater High School and Florida Southern College. After a long career with Southern Technologies, she retired to North Carolina to focus on her creative outlets and hobbies. She loved taking classes at Tryon Arts and Crafts, practicing Tai Chi and Qigong, gardening, feeding the birds, and taking in more animals than a reasonable person should. Kitty, a recent addition, is a favorite.
Bonnie was on a journey to know herself and others deeply. An insatiable consumer and sharer of knowledge, she sought and taught us about connection, deep love, purpose, and fulfillment. Drawn by the United Church of Religious Science’s belief in the power of the mind for healing and fulfillment of life, she became an ordained minister in 2001 and spent many years helping others on their journey to self-discovery.
She will be lovingly, fondly, and forever remembered by her loving husband of 48 years, Dale Musselwhite, and a host of family and friends who will forever be connected and are deeply grateful for her love.
A memorial service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charitable organization. The Padgett & King Mortuary & Crematory is serving the Musselwhite family.
