At the November meeting of the Foothills Music Club on November 11 at Tryon First Baptist Church,  members had the opportunity to hear one of the recent FMC scholarship winners.    Young pianist Breanna Cochran, winner of the Lesley Oakes Scholarship, played Claude Debussy’s Clair de lune, from Suite bergamasque.

FMC members on the program included flutist Elaine Grella, and bassoonist Karen Molnar. Both were accompanied by Carole Bartol on piano. Solo piano selections were performed by Jim Hawkins and Jeanette Comer.
