Landrum Lions Club names Joe Cunningham as its Citizen of the Year

LANDRUM—The Landrum Lions Club has a new Citizen of the Year. 

Landrum City Council met Tuesday and recognized Joe Cunningham as Citizen of the Year. 

The Landrum Lions Club makes the designation every year. Landrum Lions Club member Bob Walker recognized Cunningham this week. 

Cunningham has been the Landrum Farmers Market coordinator for 20 years. 

City of Landrum officials said, “Joe’s love for Landrum, the countless hours he has so selflessly devoted to our community, along with his kindred spirit share the perfect elements for such a deserving award. Congratulations Joe. Landrum loves you.”
