POLK COUNTY—The COVID-related survey for Polk County businesses and non-profit organizations that was sent out recently is due on Friday, Oct. 29.

The county sent out the survey to get information about local businesses and nonprofits’ recovery from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey is designed to take less than 10 minutes.

Polk County Commissioners discussed the survey at a recent meeting to see what the needs are from businesses and nonprofits. The county partnered with Isothermal Planning and Development Commission to come up with a questionnaire with questions such as their staff, if they are behind on bills, how much they owe and if the county offers funding, would they apply.

Postcards should have arrived at all Polk County businesses and nonprofits by Oct. 1. The survey is 12-questions and can be completed online.

The information from the survey will be used to possibly develop a local assistance program, including technical help or direct funding for overdue bills.

The survey can be accessed at https://arcg.is/1LTD9X0.
