Polk County Middle picked up another road win on Wednesday. sweeping Hendersonville Middle in a Blue Ridge Conference volleyball match in Hendersonville.

The Wolverines claimed a 25-11, 25-16 win to improve to 7-2 for the season.

Polk Middle raced to a 10-1 lead in the opening set. The Bearcats closed to within 11-7, but the Wolverines scored 12 of the next 13 points to grab a 23-8 margin and soon closed out the set.

Hendersonville grabbed a 5-0 lead to open the second set, but Polk Middle rallied and led for the first time at 8-7. The Wolverines snapped a 12-12 tie with a five-point run and steadily pulled away for the win.

Polk Middle returns home Monday to host Flat Rock at 4:30 p.m.
