Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Aug. 18, 2021, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 120 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Adam Dale Acosta was convicted of level 1 driving while impaired. Acosta was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail, 72 hours of community service, a $500 fine and court costs.

Jordan Michael Bassetti was convicted of speeding 80 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bassetti was fined $25 and court costs. 

Jonathan Todd Black Jr. was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Black was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs. 

Eduin Javie Buesolara was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Buesolara was fined $30 and court costs. 

Brandon C. Burgess was convicted of open container after consumption of alcohol first. Burgess was fined $25 and court costs. 

Kmaara Lashon Cannady was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Cannady was fined $50 and court costs. 

Judith Pretto Cuttino was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Cuttino was fined $30 and court costs. 

Ryan T. Hollingsworth was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Hollingsworth was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation,  24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs. 

Elmore Jenkins Jr. was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Jenkins was fined $30 and court costs. 

Davod Benjamin Nelson was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Nelson was fined $10 and court costs. 

Cecilia Jamilet Perez was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Perez was fined $30 and court costs. 

Casey Hamby Rider was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Rider was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $30 fine and court costs. 

Robert Michael Self Jr. was convicted of resisting public officer. Self was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs. 

Rontazz Romai Wallace was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Wallace was fined $30 and court costs.
