Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court at 9 a.m. on June 28, 2021, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 52 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Noland Shane Burgess was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Burgess was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Jana Shay Edge was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Edge was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit. 

Christopher T. Swint was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Swint was fined $10 and court costs. 

In Polk County District Court at 9 a.m. on June 30, 2021, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 134 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Stacy Annette Bradley was convicted of 2 counts of driving while license revoked-not impaired driving. Bradley was fined $100 and court costs. 

Allison N. Bridgeman was convicted of a felony probation violation. Bridgeman was sentenced to 90 days in jail. 

Kristen Taylor Brown was convicted of failure to appear. Brown was sentenced to 18 days in ail with credit. 

Cody James Eversole was convicted of probation violation. Eversole was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 57 days credit. 

Jessica Anna Potter was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Potter was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit. 

Ryan Clifford Gilmore was convicted of second-degree trespass. Gilmore was fined $50 and court costs. 

Robert Elliott Haug was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Haug was sentenced to 6 days in jail with credit and court costs. 

Donnie W. Hollifield was convicted of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance. Hollifield was sentenced to 18 months probation and court costs. 

Calvin Odell Jones was convicted of misuse of 911 system. Jones was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit. 

Katelyn Marie Jones was convicted of possession of stolen goods/property. Jones was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit. 

Gladys Marie Jude was convicted of attempt to possess a firearm by a felon. Jude was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation. 

Kayla Brooke McEntire was convicted of probation violation. McEntire was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 46 days credit. 

Jerry Lewis Toney was convicted of injury to personal property. Toney was sentenced to 7 days in jail with credit. 

Lena Rosette Whitt was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Whitt was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit and court costs.
