Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court at 9 a.m. on June 16, 2021, with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 130 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Jan Chavis Auman was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Auman was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

Jaimes Adan Benitez was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Benitez was fined $30 and court costs. 

John Livings Covington was convicted of speeding 102 mph in a 65 mph zone. Covington was fined $102 and court costs. 

John Wayne Franklin was convicted of level 1 driving while impaired. Franklin was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail, a $750 fine and court costs. 

Teresa Ann Greene was convicted of second-degree trespass. Greene was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation. 

Adam Matthew Hanna was convicted of unlawfully pass emergency public vehicle. Hanna was fined $20 and court costs. 

Michael Alex Jabbusch was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Jabbusch was fined $101 and court costs. 

Mounika Jagga was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment Jagga was fined $40 and court costs. 

Padmaja N. Kondamuri was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Kondamuri was fined $30 and court costs. 

Jared Blaine Krantz was convicted of simple assault. Krantz was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, 4 hours of anger management classes and court costs. 

Nigambhi Kevald Patel was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Patel was fined $30 and court costs. 

Harley Curtis Riley was convicted of flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle and attempted possession of firearm by a felon. Riley was sentenced to 60 months supervised probation. 

Ragan D. Thompson was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Thompson was sentenced to 7 days in jail with credit for time served. 

Jessica Rose Weinkle was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Weinkle was fined $40 and court costs.
