Tryon arrests man for stealing car at Sunoco Tuesday

TRYON—The Tryon Police Department arrested a Campobello, S.C. man this week after he stole a vehicle from the Sunoco station. 

Aaron Cody Dillon, 24, of 105 Wall St., Campobello, was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle and felony larceny of a motor vehicle, according to Tryon Police reports. 

Dillon is accused of stealing the vehicle on Tuesday, June 1. 

Social media reports are that Dillon wrecked the vehicle after the larceny in South Carolina. 

Dillon is currently being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center awaiting extradition to Polk County to face charges locally.
