Vehicle flips in Tryon Friday morning

TRYON—a 1-vehicle accident sent a person to the hospital Friday morning.

The wreck caused the vehicle to flip near the Sunoco gas station in Tryon along Highway 108.

Tryon Police Chief Jeff Arrowood said the initial investigation appears to be inattention and the person ran off the right side of the road, hit a culvert and flipped over.

The driver was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital.
