MILL SPRING – Derrek Alan Lynch, 28, of Mill Spring died Wednesday evening, May 12, 2021 from an off-road recreation accident.

 

Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Sharon Gillie and Jeff Lynch. Derrek as employed at Wilsonart in Fletcher for the last eight years. In his free time, he enjoyed off-road activities such as riding his Razor and hanging out with friends and family. There was never a dull moment when you were around Derrek.

 

Surviving in addition to his parents is his stepfather, Tony Green; one brother, William “Will” Green; grandmother, Lillie Mae Pack Green. Also surviving are many close friends.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening, May 15, 2021 at the McFarland Funeral Chapel.

 

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Mill Spring First Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Jesse T. Yarbrough officiating.
