TRYON – Gwendolyn “Jimmie” Stringer, 93, passed away January 19, 2021.

 A native of Greer, daughter of the late Jim and Grace M. Coble. 

Surviving are four sons, Jim Stringer of Palo Alto, CA, Jeff Stringer of Evanston, IL, Mark Stringer of Wilmette, IL, and Paul Stringer of Evanston, IL; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, 300 W. Poinsett St., Greer, SC 29650.
