TRYON – Paul Alfred Alpert, 81, of Tryon, passed away peacefully at his home on January 23, 2021.  He was the son of the late Alfred Hebert and the late Eddie and Jean Minnis Alpert.

 

Paul and his wife Carol, of 60 years, were married at the Shrine of the Little Flower in Michigan. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He owned a business that supplied parts to the automotive industry.  Paul was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and member of the Corvette Club of America.  He had a passion for Corvettes and loved baseball and Notre Dame Football.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Alpert; a son, Patrick Michael Alpert and his wife Rose; two daughters, Cheryl Jean Alpert Woodward and her husband Paul, Christine Ellen Alpert Weis and her husband Kevin; a sister, Donna Alpert Bruder; a brother, Thomas Alpert; grandchildren, Christopher, Eric, Phillip, Jake and Josh; great grandchildren, Simon and Penelope.

 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne Marie Alpert.

 

The service will be private.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice Foundation, 211 N. Main St., Hendersonville NC 28792.
