Polk JV’s extend winning streak

Polk County’s junior varsity earned its fourth straight win on Thursday, sweeping Mountain Heritage in a Western Highlands Conference match in Burnsville.

The Wolverines claimed a 25-18, 25-21 win to improve to 4-3, 4-1 in WHC matches. Polk County is slated to travel Tuesday to Madison.

Elysia Smith had six kills and nine assists for Polk while Cameron Ward finished with six kills. Zaelea Eller had four kills, 10 assists and 10 digs and Elena Carroll had three kills and eight digs.

Caroline Taylor had five digs and four aces for the Wolverines.
