COLUMBUS – Linda Splawn age 71 of Columbus, NC. passed away in her home December 3, 2020.

Born and raised in Polk County, NC she was the most loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and worked many years as a CNA at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was loved and adored by so many friends and family members, most of whom knew her as “Maw Maw”.

She is survived by her husband Donald, children Tracy (Joey) Cates and Eric (Jessica) Splawn, grandchildren Mandy (Kyle)Buckner, Justin (Taylor) Cates, Peyton and McKenna Splawn, and three great grandchildren Cole, Flynn, and Lillie.

She loved her family to no end, and for this reason during these uncertain times there will be no visitation or memorial services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Emmanuel Baptist Church PO Box 754, Columbus, NC 28722.
