Bulletin hands out turkeys to Turkey Tangle winners

Everyone loves to win something and on Wednesday, Nov. 18, the Tryon Daily Bulletin made ten lucky readers extremely happy by presenting them with a free turkey for Thanksgiving.

During the first two weeks of November, readers had the opportunity to unscramble letters of 16 area businesses, then submit their answers to the Bulletin. Out of the hundreds of submissions we received, ten lucky winners were drawn at random. The winners are Sue Seyfarth, Fred May, Carol Lawrence, Karen Dacey, Gloria Fox, Jean Pack, Faye Johnson, Joanne Midyette, Deena Brasser and Tommi Young.

This is the third year in a row the Bulletin has held the Turkey Tangle where proceeds go to benefit the Polk County Meals on Wheels program. 

Congratulations to each winner and look out for next year’s Turkey Tangle coming in late October.
