GREEN CREEK, NC–Richard David (Pud) Foster went home to be with the Lord on November 4,

2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s at the age of 60. Pud passed peacefully surround by

family at the Hospice House of the Carolina’s in Forest City NC.

Pud is celebrating his homegoing with his loving daughter Jerica Lee Foster, a precious grand

baby, his father Fred Earl Foster, his mother Althea Dale Jackson Foster, and many aunts,

uncles, cousins, and friends that proceeded him through the gates of Heaven. We know that

they were all there waiting for him when he was called home.

Pud is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tamara Price Foster of Green Creek, NC; his daughter,

Jessica Foster Clark (Jamison) of Green Creek, NC and his grandchildren, Jerica, Jayvin,

Jasper and Jensey Fern Clark. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Earl Foster (Robin) of

Columbus, NC; a sister, Lori Brewer; his brother-in-law, Randy Price (Martha); sister in-law,

Teresa Price and many aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.

Pud was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He worked hard and loved to hunt.

There will be no services at this time. The family plans to have a celebration of life at a later

date.

The family will be at home on Foster Hill at Gettys Foster Lane, Tryon, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice House of the Carolina’s Forest City NC to

provide much needed care and items.

The family would like to Thank everyone who has given support and prayers through his battle

and for all the thoughts and prayers during this time.
