TRYON — Scott McFarland Hague, 62, passed away October 19 at St. Luke's Hospital after a

short bout with cancer. 

Born at St. Luke's, then in Tryon, on November 21, 1957, he was the younger son of the late

Woodrow Lynch Hague and Mary McFarland Hague.

A lifelong Tryon resident, Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman with a love for dogs and the

outdoors.

He is survived by a brother William C. Hague, of Tryon and a niece Laura E. Conner (Chad) and

nephew William C. Hague, Jr. (Maria), both of Raleigh. 

A private graveside service was held at Polk Memorial Gardens.
