LANDRUM, SC – Alice Wyatt Weaver, 98, formerly of Landrum passed away September 8, 2020 at Laurel Woods in Columbus, NC.  She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Clotilda Augusta Souza Wyatt.  She was first married to Albert Green then later to Palmer Newman.

 

She was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, was a weaver at Southern Woven Label Mill and worked at the Meeting Place.

 

She is survived by a son, Tommy Newman(Vickie); two daughters Margaret Johnson and Jean Blanton(Robert); daughter in law, Carolyn Green; a brother, Walter Wyatt; two sisters, Mary Wofford and Shirley Brown; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son, Harrill Green; a great grandson Hayden Green; three sisters, Dorothy Arrowood, Elsie Wofford and Mildred Childers and a brother Junior Wyatt.

 

The family will have a private graveside service.
