Learning the ropes

Staff Report

Macy Cochran, a resident of Landrum, began an internship with the Tryon Daily Bulletin this week.

Currently, an English Writing senior at North Greenville University, will graduate early in December and go on to pursue a career in journalism or editing. Though graduate school is an opportunity she is heavily considering, Macy is excited to begin working with a newspaper or publisher in the near future.

Already a member of the Bulletin team as a writer for their monthly magazine, Life in Our Foothills, Macy began this internship in order to complete her last few credit hours of college. She is grateful to work with such kind people and in such a friendly work environment.

“I hope to learn all I can about journalism and editing, and I think the Bulletin will be successful in teaching me,” she claims.
