Carey Garrett from First Baptist Church Gowensville is restocking the food pantry in advance of the August 8 drive-thru event.

The drive-thru food pantry takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the church, located at 5650 N. Hwy. 14 near the intersection of Highways 14 and 11. Guests are asked to wear masks when placing their orders.

The church’s Second Saturday food ministry has been closed since March 14 because of the Covid virus. The pantry is open to anyone in the community.
