On Wednesday the testing will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Polk County Middle School, located at 321 Wolverine Trl., Mill Spring.

The next Wednesday, July 8, testing will be offered from 4-6 p.m. at Wheat Creek Baptist Church, located at 131 Wheat Creek Ln., Rutherfordton.

The extended free testing will be done while supplies last.

Polk County began free testing a couple of weeks ago for people with or without symptoms. The county has been doing drive-up testing at the former jail in Columbus and at the health department for weeks now.
