Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Online voting is now open at www.thelanierlibrary.org, both for the fun of it and to grant fame and fortune in the Lanier Library Magnus Opus Challenge. The program was open to everyone in the area who wanted to flex their creativity and submit the title and first sentence of their prose masterwork to a popular vote. The entry with the most online votes by midnight, Sunday, June 21, will be publicized by the Library and awarded a $25 gift certificate for a local restaurant. Voters can vote only once and for only one book. First sentences of each entry can be read at the website.
