In these times in which it is especially important that we care for one-another, FENCE is grateful for the incredible dedication of our amazing volunteers. Namely the passionate vision of three great gentlemen that keep our greenspace looking fabulous for the community. Our humble rock stars, Don Dicey, Chuck Hearon and John Vining, continue to amaze with their dedication and eye for incredible improvements to our trails.

These gentlemen were instrumental in the creation and installation of our new blue bird boxes, along with PJ Rosen, that are already seeing new residents. Most recently, Don crafted three natural log benches in his workshop to install on the grounds. The hand-hewn benches are beautifully crafted and look amazing in the natural setting. We are also incredibly thankful for all of their past accomplishments here at FENCE as well – tackling invasive kudzu, improving our trails, sharing their wisdom on several of our committees, and leading instructional workshops, to name a few.

Remember Foothills Equestrian Nature Center’s greenspace is open to the community dawn to dusk. Please continue to practice good social distancing during this time.
