As social distancing remains an important part of our lives in current times, FENCE wishes to remind the community that nature isn’t closed.
Critters big and small are scurrying about, welcoming the warmth after the long winter. Birds share the joy of their songs as they nest, brilliantly colored wildflowers bloom, and every shade of green paints the landscape as leaves expand from their buds and reach for the sunlight. FENCE grounds remain open as a community resource for green space access during these trying times.
Though our offices are closed, our guests can still enjoy one of the most delightful seasons here at FENCE.
Now is an excellent time to pursue birding, nature journaling, outdoor exercise, and other interests! Enjoy the plentiful, golden sunshine while throwing discs on our new disc golf course or the pleasure of a surprise encounter with a frog while walking the dog by the pond. FETA members are welcomed to continue riding the trails – be sure to check the hotline for updates and closures!
